Andy Zhao

Finance manager

Andy Zhao is based in Shanghai, where he has been working for the past six years. As the founder of GWT Consulting, he brings extensive experience in finance, auditing, and capital markets. After graduating, he began his career at one of China's Top Eight accounting firms before joining the Shanghai office of a Big Four accounting firm. Throughout his career, he has specialized in IPOs for intelligent manufacturing and service platform companies, financial due diligence, and fundraising, while also leading annual audits for both listed companies and large state-owned enterprises.

Andy is a Chinese Certified Public Accountant (CICPA), Intermediate Accountant, and Certified Management Accountant (CMA). With a strong analytical mindset and practical industry experience, he is dedicated to helping businesses achieve sustainable growth through sound financial strategy and governance.

Outside of work, Andy enjoys running marathons and has achieved a personal half-marathon best of 1h 56m. He also enjoys playing the guitar in his spare time.
